Rent Payment Information

RENT AND LATE FEES:
All rent is due and payable on the first of each month by 5:00 P.M.  Payments are to be mailed or delivered to J.B.J. Properties, at the address listed below, in the form of a personal check, cash (exact amount as J.B.J. cannot make change), cashier's check or money order.  Any rent received after the first is subject to a $20.00 late fee.  We will use the postmark date as affixed by the USPS and any item postmarked by the last day of the prior month will be considered timely.  Any rent still outstanding by the 6th of the month will receive a $40.00 late fee and is subject to a 5-day notice to vacate being posted with an additional $35.00 serving charge.

There is a night deposit box available at our main office for 24 hour drop offs.  Checks should be made payable to J.B.J. Properties Trust Account.  We request that rent be paid with a single check for the full amount of the rent due for the month.  Multiple checks could be subject to an additional processing fee.  If any personal check is returned NSF, the tenant shall pay only by cash, money order or cashier's check thereafter.  Furthermore, tenant shall pay a charge of $20.00 for each NSF check received with an additional $40.00 late fee assessed.  A finance fee of 12% may be added to any past due balance over 30 days.  If you have questions or need to discuss payment arrangements, please call Ronda at 262-255-1800 extension 23.

The office is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.  After hours, you can drop the rent check off in the night deposit box by the main entrance.

MULTIPLE CHECKS:
J.B.J. will no longer be accepting multiple checks from individual apartments.  (For example, if there are two or more roommates, only ONE check or money order will be accepted.)  A $10.00 "extra check" fee will be charged for every additional check or money order.
